Wrong again, bozos!

Polk -a- Dot Kingsland, GA Reply » Report Abuse Judge it! #95 Yesterday Correct! Thats because I am sure Ms. Bowick informed him that the employee health insurance committee is indeed made up of herself, the two Daniels, B. Soles, etc. with very little if any representation from the actual "hourly" ranks which Moreno thought it was. The facts: I never asked and she never told me. To this very moment, I have no actual knowledge of who is actually on the committee and don't care. I don't care because the very premise of an employee (and the folks you morons tell me are on it ARE employees) "insurance committee" is a prima facie absurdity. In any organization where folks labor for paychecks, there are managerial people and non-managerial people. Non managerial people, by definition, should have no say in a managerial decision such as health insurance plan selection and administration. Moreover, in most organizations, in both the public and private sectors, that job falls to either the human resources shop or the risk manager. In Camden County government, it rests with the risk manager. The risk manager (along with several other hats she wears) is Staci Bowick. Ms Bowick , in consultation with the plan's third party administrator, is perfectly competent and capable of advising the county manager and, on his behalf, the county commissioners, on needed changes to the plan. Unfortunately, only two of our five commissioners have shown themselves to be up to the challenge of doing their part to control outrageously inflated costs in a lavishly overgenerous health care plan heavily subsidized by the heretofore unwitting taxpayers.
