So what do you think he will do about the bill in reference to local legislation? Will he veto or do nothing and allow the bill to become law?

While the governor may not yet have actually signed a veto of the Chapman bill, he has clearly rendered it moot. An actual veto is a forgone conclusion and just a formality at this juncture.

By the way, it will be interesting to see what some who were trying to squeeze persnal political capital out of the issue will do now.
