Rebutting lying, libeling, lunatics.

As most of you know, TOPIX is now the haunt of liars and lunatics for the most part. Lately, our county administrator, Steve Howard, and his professional staff, have been the target of their vicious lies. Here are links to their cowardly and entirely baseless attacks. http://www.topix.com/forum/city/kingsland-ga/TK3SVHH3DNR23LD64
Yesterday, I e-mailed Mr. Howard and offered him an opportunity to set the record straight on my blog. Here is his response. You will note that it put the lie to each and every one of the baseless canards perpetrated by the human garbage on TOPIX.

Jay I notice that it says that the BOC approved the consolidation of depts. human resources, info tech, etc. changing the title to Director of Support Services. Will all three dept. be consolidated and will this cause a reduction in staff? Who holds this title?

Jay, How can all of it be lies when the salaries posted came from the county. Don't believe everything Steve Howard tells you, he works for the commissioners and he knows how to lie, it is in his job description.
I do believe that the commissioners office employees are OVERPAID, and I know that alot of them are favoritism.

I guess all it takes is a rebuttal from Mr. Howard and we are all supposed to believe everything he has written. Guess time will tell. Its hard to believe anything spoken by a politian or his staff. What I would like to see is a comparison of salaries from some other Counties in Georgia that are similar to Camden Co. in size and population.

Well, let's see: on the one hand, I have the word of anonymous, libeling, lying, lunatics; on the other, the written word of a professional with an MPA degree whose every action and written word is subject to the Georgai Open Records Act. It was tough, but I've taken the decision to go with the word of Mr. Howard.

And by the way, neither Mr. Howard nor anyone on his staff is a "politician." He works for us via employment by the politicians we elect. He is a professional (MPA)public sector manager.

How can it all be lies. Simple: it all originated on TOPIX. Any questions?

Staci Bowick, MBA, CPPB. Very competent: well worth her salary.
All trhee have long been consolidated under Staci. Not sure about reduction, but I think so.

Are you saying that Mr. Howard is not on the staff of politicians?? He answers to the Board of Commissioners whether he has an MPA and is professional. He was hired by the BOC and anyone who works in the General Government offices answers to the BOC. That is just one of the offices they control. The only offices they cannot control are offices of Elected Officials.

Forgot to say, I do not get my information from Topix. I am capable of making my own decisions, just like you. I worked in County Government for many years and I can assure you that I know more about the workings of this County Government than you will ever know. After working there I learned to believe nothing I hear and half I see. I know how things are done underhanded and it happens every day in County Government. Things can and are covered up whenever there is a need to do so and noone on the BOC will admit to it nor anyone in their offices for fear of losing their jobs. That is a fact. One of the things I learned working for County Government, nothing is written in stone.

Excuse me, but 99.9% of literate readers of standard American English would have interpretted that as I did: that you were saying that Mr. Howard himself was a politician.
