http://www.camdenwatchdog.com/Chip Drury, one of Dr. Carl Drury's sons, and the same Chip Drury whose grandiose plans to buy the Laurel Links Golf Course from Kingsland fell through, now wants to develop the actual island of Laurel Island and some other adjacent property, all of which he and his family own. However, they need a St. Marys approved TAD to make it fly. When I get back from supper and shopping, I'll brush up on my TAD knowledge and get back to y'all with an opinion. By the way, I find the names on the city clerks "flash traffic", "must know" mailing list quite interesting. I know about half of them. "Oilseal" is Kingfish Feller. Nota Bene: The Earthkeepers, Alex "Greenery" Kearns and Barbara "Delta Dawn" Ryan, are on the list. What, no Thug? Who are some of those other folks and why is it so important they be notified ASAP? No, actually a source told me about it a week ago. I've been waiting for it to "mature" before I reported on it.

I've been a little busy; not feeling very well; and, frankly, not that urgently interested inthe subject because i know a priori that if it requires a referendum, the voters will vote it down whether it has merit or not. I will get around to reading up (again) on the TAD law - including the O.C.G.A. section itself, then I'll have a position on this particular one.
By the way, someone rational ( a rarity indeed) on TOPIX mentioned a meeting sponsored by Drury at the golf club Sunday evening. Anyone know any details on that meeting?

This was the work of a Kingfish supporter with a case of Jay Derangement Syndrome. The reason he is goading me into hurrying up with an opinion is so that he may take the opposite view and use it as campaign ammunition.
I'll be doing my reading today, as I had plnned. One thing that should be obviosu by now is that I say what I mean and mean what I say, poliitcal consequences be damned. Always have;always will.
