Tommy Gregory's campaign finance report, continued...

Folks, as you can see, Tommy and Jodi have so far financed the lion's share of this campaign out of their own pockets. On the morning of the 16th, while you're still basking in the glow of Tommy's victory, let's all sit down and write a generous check - or even another generous check -to Tommy's campaign.

When to all of the contributions made today have to be reported? It seems like there are some very high profile names missing from both reports. I wll be curious to see the final report. We all know that Tommy has other backing that that, and there are some big names missing from Smiths.

Tell us some of the names you suspect are missing and why you harbor those suspicions?

I just got off of the phone with Tommy Gregory. Remember, he has been declared and campaigning for 14 months. The report he filed today was the FOURTH such report he has had to file. He will try to make copies and get them to me for publication ASAP.

I had a delightful visit from Tommy and Jodi this afternoon. We chatted for about 45 minutes. This guy is going to make a very good sheriff - no doubt in my mind.

Tommy brought me all of his financial filings to date. I'll try to get them published tomorrow.

Jay, I heard this evening that Rich Gamble was unable to get enough signatures to run as an independent in the General Election.

I'll check on that as soon as Judge
Gillette's office opens.
