Was ist los, mein Herron?

This just in from another jail house source.. It is reported that Coach Jeff Herron has informed his varsity football players that they WILL ride on a Bill Smith float in the 4th of July parade and they will like it, because of all of the illegal financial contributions Smith has made to the football team. Is there any facet of life as we know it in Camden County not contaminated by Bill Smith's ubiquitous, sociopathic, evil? Update: 1417 HRS. If you would like to inquire of the members of the school board as to what view they take of this alledged action by Coach Herron, here's how. Step 1. Bring up your word processing program. Step 2: Type up the one message you want to send to all members. Step 3: Copy said message (as in copy and paste.) Step 4. Go to their web page. Click on the individual's names beneath their pictures on the right hand side to send them an e-mail. Step 5: Paste your message, then send. Here's the link: http://www.camden.k12.ga.us/board_policy.htm Here's my e-mail: Gentlemen, It was brought to my attention today that Coach Herron has ORDERED the varsity football team to ride on a float in the St. Marys 4th of July parade in support of Sheriff Bill Smith’s reelection bid. I have posted this allegation on my blog. http://camdencommentary.blogspot.com/ I, for one, would be most interested in what your individual opinions of this alleged action (if found to be true) are, as well as what, if anything, the board plans to do about it prior to the 4th of July. I will be glad to post your responses, unedited, on my blog. Thank You. Jay Moreno

Jeff Herron runs the show, The Bored of Ed will not do a thing. Heck Randy Lee's kid is on the team. Good luck with that one.

Maybe the WHOLE team should stick together and NOT SHOW UP. Coach Herron cannot put them all off the team. I am going to contact some of the quarterback club members to see what they have to say about it.

Attention all football players. You are to report to Coach Herron July 4, 2008 in support of Sheriff Bill Smith. You stay, or you don't play, for the Smith parade float.
Please remember you owe a big thank you to Sheriff Smith for the jerseys that were given in the name of the Sheriff. Please be sure that you thank Sheriff Smith for getting money from felons Cisco, Dirkes and other such types for the jerseys. Also, if you are 18 you have to confirm that you have voted for Smith. Also, please remember to thank Coach Herron for leadership and principles he has passed on. Remember this has nothting to do with what your parents may or may not feel. This is what you have to do. Remember, you put your confidence in your coach to lead you in the right direction. All these admissions and investigations should not be of any consequences.

thanks for contacting the Quarterback Club. Keep me posted on their reaction.

Oh, and, uh, "Amen!"

They should all show up with Tommy Gregory for Sheriff T-shirts. I know of several kids on the team that are not fans of Bill Smith. He pays for the uniforms with a small DARE logo. Never once has he talked to the team about drugs. Coach Herron, how many kids are off the team for failed drug tests? DARE not working out to good is it? In past years they have just riden on the back of a Kelley Towing Truck. Good Luck with the Quaterback Club,
they are all in Smith's back pocket. Most of them at least.

Jay,

I have fired off letters to all School Board Members. We will see what their positions are regarding this matter. I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything.
