Here are the 8 letters that cowed all but Commisioner Berry into acting against the best interests of 99.9% of their constituents!

Click on images to enlarge. Fellow taxpayers, as you can see by the temporal proximity of these eight letters, this was a well coordinated attack upon our wallets. I would hope that our response would be way more impressive to the feckless four, Rainer, Sears, Zell, and, much to my surprise, Keene. Their e-mail addresses are all on the county website http://www.co.camden.ga.us/index.aspx?nid=130 .You might also want to drop Steve Berry a line thanking him for his efforts to stop this folly. Moreover, I hope that the Watchdogs, et al, will show up in large numbers at the next county commission meeting, on February 16th, to speak out against this insanity. I've already gotten my letter off to the T&G in time for Friday's edition when they will no doubt cover this idiocy. If you get yours into Jill (editor1@tds.net) by tomorrow morning, yours may make it as well. Unfortunately, Chris Folsom no longer videotapes the proceedings. I would note that the City of St. Marys just paid Doyle Strickland some $330,000 for the UFO decoy in the park. Moreover, St. Marys is on the verge of paying Larry Johnson (the builder) nearly $900,000 on the library contract. Apparently, that is not nearly enough of an "economic stimulus package," to quote soft hearted/headed Sears, to satisfy these guys. Y'all can now bet that just as sure as Gross, et al, bought Charlene's vote with campaign contributions last time around, they will, should I take the decision to run, be working against me and heavily financing her campaign, if she has the gall to run. I suspect that Charlene has decided not to run, given this in-your-face parting shot at us taxpayers in favor of her past political benefactors.

Maybe if Sawyer paid his property taxes, the county would not be in this shape. The nerve of the man to write a letter like that, knowing he owes the county hundreds of thousands of dollars. Vote the 4 out ASAP.

Based on this there is NO way Zell or Sears are running. They can't be when they would side with the developers over the taxpayers.

If they feel so generous why not give the taxpayers a refund for the increase in property taxes this year.

Camden County is headed for destruction!!!!

The developers may not pay the fee. It is absorbed by the home buyer. Why should I have to absorb the cost for someone elses house ? I am very disappointed joy Cooper sent in a letter as the board of realtors president . My house hasn't sold yet and she wants to make it easier for builders to build more houses?
