I did this in May in the early 1970s wiht a couple of fellow Viet-vets I had met at Armstrong. If you are physicaly fit enough to paddle a canoe at a relaxed pace for 4 to 6 hours, I highly recommend it.
You should be aware that if you want to go in May of 2011, you need to make reservations NOW.
