Well, so much for relocating Coast Guard assets to the airport.

http://jacksonville.com/news/georgia/2010-02-05/story/coast_guard_considers_decommissioning_st_marys_station Thanks goodness we are rid of BTW. Can you imagine how large the CCSO Riverine Forces would have grown after the depature of the USCG?!

Another bonehead move by our President. Cut defense and make our country less safe. Let's not even talk about where he is spending money.

Maybe we can build a resort prison at the airport site for all the prisoners he wants to move out of GITMO.

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

If your were out on a boat in the middle of the ocean and needed HELP you would hope your local law enforcement had a boat on the water to come and save you. It is a badly needed thing for a Coastal Community. Just look at how many boats your old hometown of Savannah has on the water along with the Coast Guard. It is needed and the people deserve it with the amount of taxes they pay for waterfront property.
