KKK rally features hate speech clothed as populism but no violence.

http://jacksonville.com/news/2010-02-20/story/cheers_jeers_great_klan_rally_in_nahunta Would you believe some die-hard Thuggies are criticizing our sheriff for sending CCSO officers to back up the Brantley County sheriff. These are the same idiots who criticized him for not having a big presence at the Mardi Gras parade.

The news accounts said that over 300 law enforcement officers were there "just in case". Their presence was a large contributing factor to the non-violence of the day.

Thank you Sheriff Gregory for assisting Sheriff Thomas in protecting on neighbors in Brantley County.

8 hrs ago How bout that people. The backbone supporter of Sheriff Gregory, The one & only "save on the County expenditures" - Jay Moreno thinks its a good thing for Sheriff Gregory to send cars deputies and equipment for the use at a KKK Rally in the next County over but not to participate in a local parade and political function of the St. Marys Mardi Gras Parade. The Sheriff and Deputies have missed alot of ongoings in this County in the last year but I guess thats what you told him to do huh Jay. If Bill Smith would have sent officers there you would have made the biggest scene as to why we should not have sent officers but since Sheriff Gregory did it then it has your seal of approval. Man you are so fake with the double standards you expell from the typed screen. You sir are one demented person.

Ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case!

I agree with what tommy did helping.BUT why would both groups be given a permit to protest at the same time. unless the BCSO had talked to other agents to help out.
and if they asked for help the ccso
should be paid for it. it was not our county that gave the permits.
sp
and dont say the naacp was a church event, because by ga. law it only stands as freedom of religon if held on private property.both groups paid for permits to have rally/protest.
if brantly got paid why cant tommy/ccso
