Big Thug's Busy Saturday

Turns out Saturday was also the day that BTW needed to remind all of his black beneficiaries that once again, it was time to call in his chits for all of that drug fund money he has spread around to the black churches over the last four years. To that end, he arranged for one black citizen, a Mr. Roy Butler, a former Gilman employee, to host a supposedly spontaneous get together of all-black devotees of BTW for lunch at Mr. Butler's home on Hwy 259. Well, it seems that one of Mr. Butler's invitees, apparently mistaking the pro-BTW affair for an "all candidates" luncheon, invited Rich Gamble, who showed. The way I hear it, when "ol' Bill Smith" realized that Rich Gamble was in the crowd, he lit out of there like a scalded hog. No word yet on where the money for the luncheon came from.

That is SO FUNNY!

Sure hope Smith paid for or rather furnished the food for Butler's party. Don't think he actually pays for anything out of his own pocket. Looks like he may have a really hard row to hoe in this next election. LOL

yeah, the idea of Rich Gamble showing up unexpectedly, spoiling Big Thug's lunch and literally eating it too is kind of comical, now that you mention it.

I"ll bet that made the Ol Silver Haired Swamp Fox"s(as he is known in some circles) a$$hole slam shut!

Now that is funny. I don't care who you are!

Uh, Roy does that every year. That cookout is an annual thing and no secret to those that live out here. He funds it himself with the help of a few freinds and family. Now the Smith, Gamble situation is funny, but Smith truley has no connection with that cookout being funded. Mr. Butler is a good, decent man.

Okay. This will be the first time Smith has not funneled money. What he usually does is to get one of his doper friends, like Cisco, Dirkes, T.C. Collins or others to handle the expenses. They cough up the money and Smith gets credit for it. Don't forget this is the same dumb ass who has been using the seized asset funds like a big, fat piggy bank. Before Dirkes got hammered by the FEDS and served some time, Dirkes told any one who would listen about getting money up for Smith. He was not the only one. Ask what Smith's cars were doing on Collins used car lot. Ask who bought and paid for the handcap van. Ask why the Sheriff had Dirkes' boat,If you ever get a chance to get him in public where he is under the gun. That is unlikely because he sneaked in the back door to qualify because he wanted to avoid the press. Can you imagine some one qualifying for office and they don't want the press to see them. Cock Roaches don't like the light. They sneak around and snitch what they can. Turn on the light and they run. Same with our low life cock roach sheriff.

Roy Butler had this get together I am told for the sheriff. Roy called and apologized to Edna, couldn't find the sheriff, (I can't believe that),for Gambel being invited even though Roy did not directly invite him. And yes Uncle Willie had $600 given to Roy for the Boston Butts. Roy is a great guy, believe it was only about 6 months ago he was arrested for fighting with his daughter and her boyfriend one evening. Had to stay in a holding cell until he could get a hold off Uncle Willie. All charges dropped.

Well I see Sidney Howell and his wife Renee are hard at work for the sheriff. They have the 4 year old signs left from the last campaign, all around their house in St. Marys. Rumor has it that Renee is suppose to garner all of the seniors' votes since she has the job of taking them around St. Marys on a daily basis. This is a paid position with the city of
St. Marys. Wonder how she can haul the Seniors to vote, aid them in voting, and stay within the law? Oh well, rumors are afloat that the Howell's are suspected of getting seized assest money to pay off a pool they financed 5 years ago and BTW paid it off??? Only a rumor. I am still wondering about Sidney being a campaign manager and how this came about. Mary Ann has left and her friend has stepped up to assume the duties. Let's watch this senior activity. I would bet the Seniors vote early or either by absentee ballot. Who says ole BTW ain't sharp???

Well, now I'm confused. That other fellow had me truly convinced that the barbecue at Roy's place was an innocuous, totally a-political, annual get togehter which jujst serendipitously was scheduled about 7 weeks before the July 15th primary and that Bill Smith just happened to stop by in the middle of it. No, really.

Is "Rindi" a nick name for Renee?

Does anyone know why Mary Ann Semans bailed on Smith, assuming that she did?

Gently coercing the old folks uitilizing tyhe St. Marys Senior Center to vote a certain way has beeen a tradition ever since I've been here, and I suspect way before.

Hell, in the days Jerry and the Pirates, the seniors could even be recruited as letter-to-the-editor mouthpieces and attack dogs.

Well Jay I guess I would be considered a "Trader" and run out of town on a rail, considering I wouldn't be caught dead voting for the low life pond scum again.
