Cisco death rattle.

Not Fairley (yet), but the Cisco 1 & 2 locations. Without the gas revenues, it appears they've been unable to pay their bills to the various franchisors for food from their commissaries, as required in their franchise contracts. They have reportedly been reduced to taking cash in hand from the registers and making runs to buy food retail at Walmart. Your Long John Silver's fish might well be "Great Value" store brand pollock. There are tales of attempts at pizza dough with flour and water. Look for franchisors to yank franchises and demand that signage come down any day now. Bankruptcy will no doubt soon follow. Honest operators will no doubt line up to buy the locations which made Cisco's the largest - by volume of fuel sold - independently owned fuel retailer in the ENTIRE COUNTRY. That's right - the fools could have made a killing LEGALLY.
