Tommy Gregory receives endorsement from union local.

Good morning everyone! Good news! Tommy has been officially endorsed by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), Local 1845. Please see the below email from AFGE, Local 1845, President Mark McCabe. We really could not be more pleased and excited about this endorsement, and we wanted to share it with each of you. Please share this email with your family and friends. We are truly excited about this terrific news. Thanks so much, Jodi. ---------------------------- Gregory For Sheriff P.O. Box 109 Waverly, GA 31565 (912) 576-3905 http://www.gregoryforsheriff.com/ ---------------------------- PAID FOR BY THE COMMITTEE TO ELECT TOMMY GREGORY SHERIFF (Attention all Thuggie, lying, dirty tricksters and/or absolute morons: The above line appears on ALL communications from the Gregory campaign. It does NOT mean that I, or anyone else who reproduced this message, was PAID to do so. Are you people really that stupid?) -------- Original Message --------Subject: Re: Endorsement press releaseFrom: Marcus mizak.net> Date: Sun, May 18, 2008 10:22 amTo: Tommy Gregory tommy@gregoryforsheriff.com Greetings. My name is Mark McCabe and I have been lucky enough to be the President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), Local 1845 on the upper base for the past ten years. My local is an interesting balance of white-collar and blue-collar workers and politically we are just as diverse. As a local we do not often endorse a political candidate due to the diversity I described. We are breaking that stance in the current race for Camden County Sheriff by endorsing Tommy Gregory. A sizable portion of the people this union incorporates includes the civilians who work in the Security Department here on base. Many of these individuals have a lot of experience in several of the local police departments and we are also quite familiar with those persons who have done their duty serving in other Federal investigative agencies. With this base of knowledge we have come to understand that steady and positive leadership in any position such as Sheriff is crucial. By looking over the field of candidates we acknowledge that we are looking for someone who has a balance of experience, competency and understands their leadership role. We see this embodied in the way Tommy Gregory handles himself and clearly he desires to stay above the muck of politics and focuses on the job ahead, I ask those brothers and sisters of not just my local, but of the other local unions in the area to follow our lead and support Tommy Gregory in his bid for this office. Thank you for your time and I appreciate your joining me in this endeavor. Mark McCabe AFGE-1845 Local President St. Marys, GA

and the hits just keep on coming.

With a large portion of this local being comprised of law enforcement
and former law enforcement personnel, this is a tremendous endorsement for Tommy Gregory.

The hog farmer is gone.

Didn't Rich Gamble work with these people on base or does this not include the NIS dept? Whatever it means, it is certainly well deserved by Gregory. I just hope that all these people who are pulling for Tommy will get out and vote. We need him in the SO to bring back the dignity of that office.

Are yuyo ready for this: so cretin Thuggie has stated on Roor Rooters psycho site that Tommy Grgory is PAYING me to promote his candidacy on my blog. The fool claims that the proof is in this very post.

Re-read it. When you spot what the poor ignorant Thuggie bastard is referring to, you'll die laughing.
