Fair warning!

The clock is ticking! The last day to register to be able to vote in the July 15th primary is June 16th. You may register with the registrar's office in Woodbine, or with your city's clerk, or when you go to obtain or renew your driver's license. If you are not sure whether you were registered the last time you renewed your license, you may call the registrar's office at 576-3245. They will be glad to look it up for you. All you will need in the way of an ID to register is your current driver's license, provided that all of the address information is correct and current. If you have a license, but he address is not current, you need to bring something like an electric bill with your correct current address on it. If you do not have a driver's license, you will need a state issued ID (available at driver's license offices for a very small fee), or a birth certificate and a current utility bill, as above. It is a very short, sweet, and simple process. A few days after you register, you will receive your new voter registration card in the mail. It will tell you which district(s) you are in and precisely where to go to vote. The touch screen voting machines are very user friendly. If you need assistance, the poll workers will have an unofficial one set up in order to show you how to do it, if need be. If transportation to the polls is a problem, contact the PSA about transportation to and from the polling place for just $6.00, or, contact a candidate you plan to vote for, or call the registrar and request an absentee ballot. In short, there is no excuse for your not voting in what will probably be the single-most pivotal election in Camden County history.

Thanks Jay. Wish the paper would print that just as you wrote, short and to the point. (Bingo)

You're welcome. I know Jill follows this blog. Perhaps they will.
