Yeah, that's what I'm hearing, too - that BTW recruited Carper to run against Berry.
Ms. Carper is noteworthy of the following. Of course she is a very good friend of BTW. Just how good of a friend is their secret.
BTW makes no secret of the fact that he got her to run against Berry. Note that while she was over the Chamber of Commerce, we shut down the paper company and did not attratct one business to locate on that site, got a sausage plant that has gone under, but we did get one "EXPRESS SCRIPTS" that got a tremendous tax break, and guess who gets one of the top jobs with this company??? None other than "MS. CARLA CARPER". I guess this is just a coincidence and nothing to it. Can yo imagine adding Carla, keeping David Rainer, and adding Brack to the commission??? BTW could probably get a sentence and they could probably have it overturned and have BTW serving a 7th term. I am having nightmares.
Note, also, that it is exceedingly unlikely that the JDA or the Chamber had anything to do with actually recruiting "Express Scripts."
Walmart still had years to run on the lease for the old, abandoned Walmart store. It was undoubtedly Walmart's special section, within their real estate division, for unloading such obsolete locations which deserves the credit for that recruitment.
Well, if BTW and Sandy "Steve Berry has caused me to lose my mind" Feller are her main support, then she has about as much chance of victory as the proverbial snowball.
