As such, the Republican Party of Camden County will be sponsoring two candidate forums for the republican candidates. Both forums will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in St. Marys. Committee member Dr. James Burnham will be in charge of both events. On June 3, 2008 there will be a forum for the Tax Commissioners, the Sheriff, and the State Senate. The individuals qualified for those offices are: Sheriff William Smith, Incumbent Tommy Gregory Tax Commissioner Beth Soles, Incumbent Patricia Smith State Senate Jeff Chapman, Incumbent Terry Carter On June 24, 2008 there will be a forum for the County Commissioners.
