What can y'all tell me?

My Ford E-250 conversion van has just turned over the 5,000 mile mark and already I've got a check engine light burning. I'll be taking it to some Ford dealer later in the week. Has anyone had any particularly bad (or good) service experiences (especially warranty work) with Lilliston Ford in Kingsland? How about the Ford dealerships in Brunswick and Fernandina, respectively? Thank You.

I have used Liliston Ford and Paul Clark Ford. Have had two very bad experiences with Paul Clark. I have recently used Liliston Ford and could not be happier with the service.

Don't know anything about the Ford dealers but would like to commend you on the St. Mary's waterfront picture. It is beautiful.

Paul Clark Ford in in Yulee has a much more organized facility than Kingsland. I have a fleet of trucks thats where we go for service

I have never had any trouble with the one in Kingsland. I found out once that if my gas cap on my f150 wasnt on properly that my check engine light would come on. Also it would come on when the oil needed changing. It could be something that simple.

I can tell you that they are a pleasant surprise. We have dealt with them on a couple of different occasions and they have the most professional staff. We even went to purchase a new vehicle to get away from our gas guzzler and I have never walked out of a dealership feeling that I would be glad to return to do business with them any day and I didn't even purchase a vehicle because we are up side down on the one we have. But they didn't try to scam us or put us in over our heads like most car dealers would. They gave us the facts and left the decision up to us. No pressure selling what so ever. We've had to have a vehicle repaired by their service staff and have gotten the same quality service. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for all of the advice.

I'm going to give Lilliston a try. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

As to the picture of the waterfront, I, uh, "borrowed" it from the City of St. Marys website.
Glad you like it.

Oh, when the blog comes up, if you will click on the right-pointing arrow at the bottom of your screen,
you will be able to se the entire photogaraph.

I used to work for the Ford dealership under it's previous owner and he was one of the most crooked people I've ever dealt with. That said, the rest of the staff are pretty cool folks and it's now owned by someone else so your experiences may not be as bad as mine were. Would love to hear how it goes.
